Backpacking and Camping Equipment

Posted on Nov 21 2017 - 9:32am

The holidays are right around the corner and a perfect time to properly equip scouts for camping and hiking! Below are a couple of links to popular sites. For some, if you sign up with your email, they will occasionally send discount codes. Check 'em out!  If you have questions on equipment, you can ask some of the adult leaders. As a rule, cheaper is not better, but last year's higher-end model that has been marked down is a great option. For backpacking, the smaller and lighter, the better. Be sure to check temperature ratings on sleeping bags. The Files link on the menu usually has equipment lists.
